The next major step in robotics may not be a faster motor or a stronger actuator.
It may be the ability of a robot to understand what is happening around it and decide what to do next.
The humanoid robotics industry is entering an important new phase.
Until recently, advanced humanoid robots were primarily associated with expensive industrial prototypes and research laboratories. Unitree R1 is helping change that perception by bringing a smaller, lighter, and significantly more accessible humanoid platform to the market.
For years, humanoid robots have attracted attention through laboratory demonstrations, technology exhibitions, and carefully controlled tests.
That is changing.
The humanoid robotics market is expanding beyond a small number of famous prototypes. An increasing number of robotics companies are developing platforms designed specifically for practical research, AI development, industrial automation, and human-robot interaction.
The humanoid robotics industry continues to evolve at an impressive pace, and the Unitree H2 is one of the most exciting new platforms designed for research, industrial automation, and commercial applications.
